After all, it's the thought that counts.

Oh it's a really nice aesthetic looking timepiece but more than that, it's a Timex Watch that was made in the Philippines. As a collector of timekeeping devices I have a real desire for watches that were made or assembled here in the Philippines by Timex in Cebu. I remember being in the USA where I'm from and in the early 1990's seeing a Timex Atlantis Watch with the word Philippines stamped into the metal back of the watch and although the word Philippines is no longer stamped into the watch backs it is still where fine quality watches are made and assembled to this day. Knowing where a watch comes from means a lot to me. Yes, it's the thought that counts.
